Brooklyn — A Stop sign is dwarfed by the tail section of a wrecked United Airlines DC-8 Jet that crashed into a residential section of Brooklyn following a mid-air collision. The second aircraft, a Trans-World Airlines Super Constellation, fell to earth in a field in Staten Island. At least 131 persons died in the disaster, the worst in the history of aviation.
